Above all, do NOT buy a
Pakistani/mid-east/Deura/carved rosewood harp.
They
look pretty (they're all
over e-bay, easy to spot), but they are poorly
made, have terrible levers,
and the sound is lousy. If you see a
harp on
e-bay that you like and they
know the manufacturer, you can look them up to
see if they are legit; a
